How about giving the land back to their rightful owners (Palestinians, etc) and move out from the area?

Not only that you wont have to invade or endure these casualities, you also show respect and upheld the UN mandate of the illegal occupation of these territories.

should they invade? YES, and once it is clean invite Mahmoud Abbas to seat on his new center of control. this would show that Israel is willing to make peace with the right Palestinians not the terrorists from Hamas.

That would be OK with me because world opinion would turn against Israel and without permission from the US so would US support disappear. That would be the end of Israel and thus most of the problems in the middle east.

The radicals think that everytime they blow something up they have won a victory. They are dilluted in their thinking. The Israeli’s are under so much pressure never to counter attack because of world scrutiny, that they don’t attack. Then Hamas thinks they have won, when really it’s becaue they are at the mercy of Israel not blasting them with full force back. I get so upset when they get scrutinized for defending themselves. If Hamas attacked a San Diego military base in the middle of the night we would fire bomb their whole territory. I think we should give Israel the option to exercise military defense action as they see fit and stop letting the world control their actions. They’re the one’s who live there.

I think of like this . . . I don’t spank my children. However, there are some days where if a complete stranger came up to them in the grocery store and slapped the crap out of them I genuinely wouldn’t mind. I would just close my eyes and pretend it never ever happened.

Israel already controls it to some extent by weekly and daily armored incursions.
Israel won’t act this week because of their holiday.

However, if Israel will act, expect the same sort of “victory” as they suffered with Hezbollah. Hamas is better organized than Fatah gangs.
