you must at least have a year and six months employment to qulafy for unemployment because it is paid in quarterley so the best thing is to apply and let them decide most ststes do it on line now.

I do not know what these people are talking about. i recieved unemployment after being layed off of a temp job after only being there 2/3 months. I also have been working my whole life, since about 15 yrs. old. hope this helps you as well
