you give out your cell phone number to places that ask for a phone number to track your purchases. You gave it to someone that put it in a database which was then purchased by and advertiser, and there you have it. Congradulations for giving out your Cell number to companys who could sell it to make even more money off you. I’ll bet all of your friends who recieve those call shop in the same store that asks for you phone number when you purchase something.
That goes for “savings cards” of any type they sell your info, to advertisers.
For some folks the warranties arent worth it but for me it is. I would have been really in a hard situation without it a couple times with my truck when I didnt have the savings to pay up front. I was really glad I had the extended warranty.
