It’s funny that Pat Fitzgerald (the independent investigator in the case) keeps saying “Obama was approached and turned then away” and that the Governor is quoted as saying “They (Obama’s people) won’t give me anything but appreciation, so %*$& them”.

Did you notice Blago was not allowed to attend the DNC in Denver, or allowed to be present when Obama announced Biden as his VP pick in Springfield? It had to do with both being associated with Rezko and a trial going on where the Governors name was mentioned.
