I chose a cover photo for a self published 2009 calendar but ?
now we am carrying second thoughts. The print is of the haze covering over the hollow with plateau in the background. You can see it here: http://www.lulu.com/content/3453570 . Will it squeeze the shopper’s attention?

I personally think it’s really pretty but not particularly interesting….
No. Too flat, no obvious feature. Unless the purpose of the calendar is to provide calm scenics that might be viewed out a window, does give a clue as to what the year will look like.
It would make me stop for a second look, I am drawn to photography and this is a beautiful uncluttered shot.
I would definitely turn it over to see what the other month photos were going to be.
I like the peacefulness it conveys.
I still buy calendars of the ocean, and I live in Florida ; They are soothing. I enjoy gazing at a beautiful photgraph.
It’s a bit plain. I would stop to look at it because I love Nevada though.
