Has anyone used “peticure” the dog nail trimmer on tv?

Just wondering if it worked. My dogs have been really hyper as good as customarily hatred being messed with unless by the groomers. But 70 dollars each 6 weeks is removing really expensive, so in in between grooms we was wondering how good the “peticure” worked? we used to trim my aged dogs nails though he was so mellow as good as would let we do anything, so is it the rubbish of income or does it work?

It all depends on your dog.
If they won’t sit still for clippers (which I think is faster than using the peticure), then they won’t sit for the peticure. I clip my dogs nails every 2 weeks, and use the peticure in between to keep them looking nice.

I own a peticure and it works great for nail shaping and smoothing out rough edges, but it doesn’t work very fast to actually trim the nail.

I asked about using the Peticure and was advised otherwise by Deecat. I always take her word for it, she knows what she’s talking about. Deecat uses a dremmel with a sanding attachment, which is available in many hardware stores.

I wouldn’t waste money on it.

OMG I saw the commercial for it and it’s true you know, we do hurt our pets when we cut their nails with clippers. I feel so bad, and I want to get the peticure. I am skeptical about “things on tv” but I am willing to try this. You know what 20 bucks is worth a try. Your only paying it once and it’s gotta be somewhat effective or they wouldn’t be aloud to market it. If it doesn’t work, just send it back, I always do when Im not satisfied with something and I get reimbursed. It sounds a lot better than the 70$ every 6 weeks for grooming.

I haven’t used it, I just use a regular Dremel tool & it works way better/quicker for my dogs than regular clippers.
I have a friend who is a groomer & she love the Peticure.

A fellow groomer who has a blog has posted her findings on the peticure. There are alot of comments too.

I’m a groomer and I have always used a dremel to file nails. I ordered the cap piece for the peticure and it screws onto my cordless dremel. I love it! I can file nails so much faster and don’t have to worry about getting hair caught in the dremel shaft. For some reason too, the dogs don’t seem to mind the filing as much with the cap on than without.
